Posted by: Donnah at October 22, 2008 11:26 PMWhere are the Marlboro Red soft packs rolled up in their sleeves and the ducktails?
Posted by: Paco Malo at October 23, 2008 01:58 AM"Portrait of the Hunk as a Young Hunk." That's what that is. Plain and simple. Good thing he didn't go to my high school with me or who knows how I might have ended up.
Posted by: Starla Darling at October 23, 2008 09:05 AMDuane smoked Kools.. fool. You knew that..I can't see the pic right now (need some update thingy..I am on a shop pc)
Donnah IS like the best woman ever.. I mean, for
years you had to be a hardcore Flarda badasss to even know about the ABB. They were not a gloss band by any stretch.
Mick had to pay the angels to show..
not Duane
Posted by: csason on a weak pc at October 23, 2008 09:34 AMCollar popper.......cute! Sneering sidekick.....even cutier. Was at the hospital yesterday into the night welcoming my new Granddaughter, Tinsley into the world. I had my daughter convinced to name the new one Duane Allman if it was a male child, but alas...we have a beautiful girl instead.......good trade don't you think?
Thank you Donnah for a terrific pic on a very special Wednesday (at least for this new Nanny).
Wail on, Skydog!
Posted by: cindy at October 23, 2008 10:04 AMCongratulations Cindy!
Much as I love our Skydog, I have to say I'm glad it was a girl. lol
I had a boyfriend who claimed to have been named after Duane Allman. I don't know if it was true or not, but he was about the right age (born November 4, 1971; why have I retained the guy's birthday all this time after the way he broke my heart?!) and I don't see why not. There's no other good reason to name somebody Duane, unless it's also the name of a rich, sickly and very generous relative. :)
That's hilariously awesome. "You boys stand over there by the bush, and look nice."
Reckon those are penny loafers?
