Unforseeable Financial Tragedy In Massachusetts

Saying "a fool and her money are soon parted" is blaming the victim:

A 22-year-old woman, who flashed $27,000 in cash Monday night while inside an Indian Orchard bar, was held up at gunpoint around midnight after she left the bar with a male friend and walked towards her car.

Sgt. John M. Delaney said the victim, while inside the bar, bragged of receiving the $27,000 from an insurance claim.

Delaney, aide to Police Commissioner William J. Fitchet, said the victims told police they were robbed by two male suspects wearing dark clothing and bandanas, one armed with what appeared to be a semi-automatic handgun.

“Lesson learned...” Delaney said in prepared statement. “When you cash a settlement, put it in the bank.”

Detectives are probing the case, Delaney said.

Fine for you to say, Officer Perfect. Now brush the powdered sugar off your badge and get that citizen her money back!

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Does this gal also stick forks into electric sockets or try to pat the nice fuzzy bear that shows up at her campsite? How about she goes for a swim off the fish-cleaning pier or uses a little gasoline to get her Halloween bonfire started?

They were going back to the apartment so she could show them the jewelry her grandmother left her.

And she was then going to pack her bags to go and visit this nice guy who calls himself B.T. Kaye who she met online and who has promised her a job in his modelling agency.
Of course, she is going to tell everybody she'll be gone and where she hides her house key, in case of emergency.

But first she has to get in her e-mail for just a bit to get going on an interesting business opportunity in Nigeria someone wrote to her about.

Yes! That nice lady who used to be First Lady and who needs help getting her life's savings out of the country!
But all this takes a backseat to other things, because SHE MAY ALREADY BE A WINNER!!!!!

Well, if that's the case, it's time to celebrate! She'll need to get a hold of a phone so she can give the call-and-hangup signal to her wonderful boyfriend, the married man who said he's going to leave his wife for her!

She better hurry, because she's pregnant and she knows he will just LOVE for her to have his baby and that'll make him leave his wife even sooner!
And she needs to order those secret Mongolian vitamin pills off that sloppily-arranged webpage too.
