A sheer-haired Duane with slide.
Wail on, Skydog!
Looks like pretty heavy strings....
Posted by: Mike The Bike at March 11, 2010 08:20 AMOne word............SWEET!
Wail on, Skydog!
Posted by: cindy at March 11, 2010 12:23 PMWhat's with the hair there?
Posted by: Starla Darling at March 11, 2010 12:30 PMIs his hair wet? Is he in the bathroom? Sheeesh...that boy couldn't leave the Les Paul alone long enough to dry off...
Posted by: Dennis at March 11, 2010 01:46 PMI'm listening to Bobby Blue Bland right now on sugarmegs & I honestly can say I'd have never even heard of the guy if it wasn't for Duane.
Thanks Duane & thanks Donnah for the great pic of our great one. He looks pretty fine through that fine hair.

Posted by: csason at March 11, 2010 04:14 PMIt wouldn't be the first time he was photographed with his guitar in the bathroom if that's where he is. He does look cute with his hair all wet like that.
Wubba wubba wubba!

Posted by: Mike The Bike at March 12, 2010 01:17 AMCongrats Mike!
Now you can't make fun of us girls for acting all girly, can you? lol
His hair ain't wet in this pic.
That's normal rock n roll guitar picker head.
Posted by: csason at March 12, 2010 02:03 PMI always thought his hair could have looked almost as nice as Gregg's with some dedicated shampooing and maybe some work with a blow-dryer.
Posted by: Starla Darling at March 12, 2010 04:30 PMYeah but if you spend too much time primping, your bike runs like shit, and you can't play slide..
Wail on scraggly Skydog !
You know what I mean...
I second csason's last observation: wail on scraggly Skydog!
Starla Darling: a blow dryer, please! I'd bet my bottom dollar Duane never touched one. Scruffy hair was the look back then anyway. For a musician's musician like Duane, it was all about the sound.
As always, thanks Donnah for the great photo.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to all.
Posted by: Paco Malo at March 17, 2010 09:21 PMHappy St. Paddy's day to everybody, Irish or Irish-for-a-day. Green rules!
Posted by: Starla Darling at March 17, 2010 10:12 PMYesterday was my baby's birthday.. Ivy Lane turned 17.
Happy St. Pats day ! A day late..
Posted by: csason at March 18, 2010 09:35 AMYou're not gonna believe this, but I used to live on an Ivy Lane. Actually, it was a (Cardinal Direction) Ivy Lane. Anyway, many happy returns to your Ivy! Bet she wishes old Patrick wouldn't keep crowding her special day and people would quit giving her shamrocks for presents. lol
